Robin Davie is one of a very few people to have sailed around the world - Solo - three times. He has sailed the sail, and now he's here to talk the talk, bringing his unique and action-packed perspective on challenge though a riveting tale of life at sea that is punctuated by a spectacular slide and video presentation of adventure, sailing, the ocean and wildlife.

More people have been in Space than the total number of people who have completed the 5 runnings of the Around Alone Races.

More people have stood on the top of Mount Everest than the total number of people to have sailed solo Around the World.

The Around Alone Solo sailboat race has been sailed every four years since 1982. At 27,000 miles in length and seven months in duration, it is the longest race on earth for an individual in any sport. It is widely regarded as an Ultimate Challenge, a voyage that is the Mount Everest of the Ocean.
